The co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Natural State Science, LLC ("NSS") is Bryce Warren. Bryce has a lifetime of experience as a rare disease expert and as a clinical and benchtop research scientist. He has managed international trials in rare diseases and is a co-author on numerous scientific papers on topics such as leukemia and other cancers.
Bryce began his scientific career at Arkansas Children's Hospital ("ACH") joining the hematology/oncology section where he transitioned to the lead clinical scientist for the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences ("UAMS"). At UAMS, Bryce conducted research both in the laboratory and in clinical science, for rare and non-rare cancers in hematology/oncology, and for rare diseases such as sickle-cell anemia, thrombophilia, hemophilia, and disorders of the histocytes. Bryce was also the Chief Scientific Officer for a clinical research organization.
Bryce has served as a Board Member and Vice Chair for the Histiocytosis Association. In 2005, he served as the President of the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA). Bryce also served as Chair and then Co-Chair for SOCRA's Scientific Review Committee.
The co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of NSS is Robert Ulrey. Robert is a private investor and former Managing Director of Investment Banking with Stephens Inc. in Little Rock, Arkansas. He co-founded NSS with Bryce in 2018.
